The City of Kingston are holding an information session on April 30th
The public are being invited to see what plans are being made for the Culligan Water Park.
The City of Kingston are holding an information session on April 30 from 4 pm to 7 pm in the lobby of the Memorial Centre.
In a news release, this is the final season of the water park as an outdoor facility.
They say once the park closes in the fall, they will begin the process of installing a roof that will allow the pool and slide to open all year round.
The session will cover conceptual designs, future programming options, and staff will be there to answer questions about the project.
The City says people who are unable to attend can view the project by going to their website.
They say information boards will also be on display at Culligan Water Park and Artillery Park Aquatic Centre throughout the year.
Construction on the addition is expected to last through 2026 with an anticipated opening in 2027.
