The incumbent easily beat out his challengers in Monday's municipal election.
The voters in Kingscourt-Rideau have brought back Brandon Tozzo to represent them and the two-time councillor couldn't be happier.
Tozzo easily won his district in Monday's municipal election in Kingston by a nearly three-to-one margin over Michael Judd and Kevin Smith.
Tozzo appreciates the support he received during the campaign.
Tozzo says he is looking forward to working with the new council on developing priorities for the next four years.
He says there are few that he would like to see get done.
Tozzo is one of seven returnees to council, eight if you include mayor-elect Conny Glenn.
He says that familiarity will bode well in working together on improving the city.
Tozzo reached out to Glenn after she beat out incumbent Bryan Paterson for the mayor's chair.
He says he has heard during the campaign that residents wanted change at the top but admits he was a bit surprised at the results.
Tozzo and rest of council will be officially sworn-in on November 24.
