Top anglers are in Kingston for CISA Open tournament

65 teams will be competing for over $100,000 in cash prizes.

One of the biggest fishing tournaments is coming up this weekend in Kingston.

The CISA Open sees some of the world's best anglers competing for a share of over $100,000 in cash prizes. The top prize is $30,000.

Professional angler Chris Johnston tells Big G and Matty of New Country 98.9 the waters of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River are great places to fish for small mouth bass.

There will be 65 teams in the tournament and Johnston says the best of the best will be here.

Johnston will be in a team with his brother Corey and is excited that the two of them will be fishing together.

The tournament runs September 4, 5, and 6 at Confederation Park.
