Suspended driver charged after allegedly fleeing police on dirt bike

A warrant was issued and investigators were led to a home in Parham where they made the arrest.

A wanted man is in police custody.

A Frontenac OPP officer was conducting traffic patrol on June 19 when a dirt bike without a license plate sped by going north on Road 38 heading towards Sharbot Lake.

Investigators say the officer pursued the dirt bike and attempted to make a traffic stop but the bike sped away and fled the area.

A warrant was issued for the driver's arrest.

An investigation led officers along with members of the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement squad and the Offender Management Apprehension Program to a home in Parham last Monday (6th) where an arrest was made without further incident.

A 34-year-old man is facing a number of charges including driving while under suspension and flight from police.
