The action comes as crews make urgent repair
Some Utilities Kingston customers will be without water overnight as crews complete repair work in the Aylesworth area.
Utilities Kingston says water service will be temporarily shut off Wednesday, July 8, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The affected area includes Eunice Drive, Sydenham Road north of the K&P Trail, and Sunnyside Road.
The utility says the shutoff is needed while crews complete a valve repair.
Residents in the affected area are encouraged to plan ahead by storing water for drinking, cooking and other basic needs before the shutoff begins.
The work follows a water main break reported on Sydenham Road on July 5. At that time, customers north of the K&P Trail were told they could experience reduced water pressure and were asked to cut back on water use.
Utilities Kingston says updates are available through its online service alerts.
