The funding from the province aims to protect eastern Ontario’s premier tourism destinations.
Upgrades are coming to attractions operated by the St. Lawrence Parks Commission.
The province announced that they are investing more than $82 Million over the next four years.
The money will go towards the SLPC's multi-year revitalization project.
In a news release, the funding will help improve and maintain the corridor’s numerous parks, beaches and attractions.
That will include the construction of upgraded, environmentally friendly facilities at Mille Roches Beach and Campground.
SLPC will also be making upgrades to its septic systems for the first time since 1965.
The province says this will help protect eastern Ontario’s premier tourism destinations and ensuring they are ready to welcome visitors of all ages for years to come.
