The collision occurred Saturday morning at the intersection of Brock and Victoria streets.
The province's Special Investigations Unit is asking anyone who witnessed a collision involving a Kingston Police cruiser to come forward as its investigation continues.
The crash happened around 9:40 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, at the intersection of Brock and Victoria streets in Kingston. According to the SIU, a marked police cruiser responding to a call collided with a Subaru.
The driver and passenger of the Subaru, along with the police officer, were taken to hospital. The 70-year-old driver of the Subaru suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Three SIU investigators and a collision reconstructionist have been assigned to the case, with one Kingston Police officer designated as the subject official.
Anyone with information, photos or video of the collision is encouraged to contact the SIU as the investigation continues.
