Queen's is hosting the annual event which is in its 15th year.
The world of science is taking over Slush Puppie Place this weekend.
Queen's University is hosting their annual Science Rendezvous this Saturday inside the venue and outside along Tragically Hip Way.
There will be over 60 exhibits on display including a number of demonstrations.
Science Rendezvous Founder and Professor Emerita at Queen's Lynda Colgan says there is something for everyone.
There will be presentations on cancer research, brain health, ticks, and more. There is also a demonstration where DNA is extracted from strawberries.
Colgan says the event is for every science enthusiast but it is mostly geared to get children interested in the field.
This is the 15th year of Science Rendezvous.
Colgan says scientists are often intimidating and this event offers a way to see them in action in a more relaxed atmosphere.
There will be an opening ceremony outside Slush Puppie Place at 9:45 am. Doors will open at 10 am and run until 3 pm.
Admission is free and there is free parking at Fort Henry where a shuttle bus will be taking people to and from Slush Puppie Place.
More information on Science Rendezvous can be found by going to their website.
