It took just minutes to make the arrest near Cataraqui Cemetery, a 48-year-old is facing charges.
Kingston Police Service brought out the "Juice" to nab a break and enter suspect.
They were notified by staff at Cataraqui Cemetery on Thursday after they noticed a building on the property had been broken into.
Investigators say staff went inside the building around 7 am where they encountered the intruder. The individual then immediately fled on foot.
They say the police's canine unit were brought in and Juice, their police service dog, initiated a track. Five minutes later, the suspect was found and arrested without incident.
A search of the individual turned up a number of tools used for breaking into a secured building.
A 48-year-old from Kingston faces a number of charges and was held for a bail hearing.
