Following the news of a dog found to be deceased in a hot car in the Durham Region recently, the Ontario SPCA says this is the result of what could happen if you leave a pet unattended in a hot car. Katelyn Stojadinov has this reminder.
Katelyn says even though it has not happened locally, the problem needs to be addressed.
Leaving your pets alone in a car, even with the air on, can cause another set of issues.

Stojadinov adds that should you find a pet inside of a hot vehicle, call local authorities first and never take the matter into your own hands.
