The Maple Leaf Entrepreneur’s Guide to Selling Your Business is all about how people can sell their businesses.
Jim Nairn, Vice-President and Broker of Record at Trillium Business Brokerage in Kingston, got the inspiration to write the book based on his 13 years of handling business transactions.
He says the book is geared to anyone looking to sell their business.
The book contains examples of business transactions that Nairn has handled in Kingston.
Many of the businesses Nairn has helped sell are medium-sized ones that bring in around $1 million or more in sales.
He says when people are ready to sell, it will take time before the deal closes.
Maple Leaf Entrepreneur’s Guide to Selling Your Business recently went Number One on Amazon's Best-Seller's List. Nairn says he will be writing a follow up book, one that shows how to buy a business.
