Nicole Wattam and her daughter was leaving Hotel Dieu Hospital after a doctor's appointment when a specially-designed helmet went missing.
A Napanee woman is seeking the public's help in locating a special helmet that went missing.
Nicole Wattam's infant daughter wears a medical helmet that helps shape the development of her head. Wattam and her mom brought her daughter to Hotel Dieu Hospital in Kingston on Tuesday.
She says it was when they left the hospital on their way home that they discovered that the helmet was gone.
Wattam says her daughter recently had surgery on her head and they were at the hospital for an appointment with her pediatrician that day.
She says it is a special kind of helmet with distinct features.
Wattam believes the helmet got lost somewhere between leaving the doctor's office and getting into her car.
She says she had the helmet in a shopping bag with other items in it.
Anyone who has found the helmet can reach her on Facebook or email her: nicolebwells@gmail.com.
