Two Juno Award winning artists are headlining this year's festival in Harrowsmith.
The line up is set for the upcoming Line Spike Frontenac music festival.
The festival is back for a second year in Harrowsmith June 27 and 28.
This year's headliners are the husband and wife duo of Raine Maida and Chantal Kreviazuk. Kreviazuk appeared at last year's inaugural festival.
Showrunner and Producer Jeremy Campbell says there was no effort involved in convincing Kreviazuk to return to the festival.
Many know Maida as the lead singer of the Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace. The two have recorded and performed together as an act and their appearance at Line Spike is part of their cross-Canada tour.
Campbell says this is a performance you don't want to miss.
Like last year's festival, the musical line up for this year's Line Spike will be made up of mostly Canadian acts. Kingston's Miss Emily, Will & Co, I the Mountain, and the Devin Cuddy Band are among the acts that will be appearing.
Campbell says he wants to give these musicians an opportunity to show off their talents on stage.
Campbell is hoping to avoid the same road blocks that caused him to be around $225,000 in debt. Much of that was due to the Township of South Frontenac pulling the festival's liquor license.
Campbell says he will be playing it safe and allowing patrons to bring their own alcoholic beverages.
