The Limestone District School Board says it is dealing with a cyberattack that began on Thursday, April 17. While schools remain open and classes are ongoing, all school and central office networks are offline as cybersecurity experts assess the damage and work to restore services.

Emails sent from outside the board are currently not being received.
Secondary students with board-issued laptops are asked to bring them to school this week so software updates can be installed.
The board says it will continue to update families and staff as more information becomes available and has apologized for the inconvenience.
Students and families are thanked for their patience and support during the disruption.
