The Heritage Management Plan is a key priority in Kingston’s 2023–2026 Strategic Plan.
The City of Kingston is asking residents to help shape its first-ever Heritage Management Plan.
The plan will guide how the city celebrates, protects, and shares its diverse stories, spaces, and traditions. Residents are invited to share what parts of Kingston’s heritage matter most to them.
“We want to hear from everyone,” said Kevin Gibbs, Director of Heritage Services. “Your stories will help us honour Kingston’s full history—including the ones often overlooked.”
Feedback will help create a plan that brings together heritage conservation, planning, museums, and community programs.
Residents can take a short survey on Get Involved Kingston, or attend an open house on June 24 from 6–8 p.m. at Memorial Hall in City Hall. No registration is needed.
