City pushes survey deadline and reschedules meeting to address community feedback.
The City of Kingston says it is extending public consultation for its transit service review after strong participation from residents.
Since launching the latest phase, transit users and community members have attended events on April 15 and 23 and shared feedback through an online survey. Officials say the response included a wide range of questions and ideas.
To better address those concerns, the city has extended the survey deadline to May 15, 2026. The survey remains available through Get Involved Kingston.
An in-person consultation that had been planned for Wednesday at the Rideau Heights Community Centre was also been postponed. The session will now take place in May, with a new date to be announced.
City officials say the delay will allow staff to provide clearer information and respond more fully to public input.
