Local artists, performers, vendors and community groups have until July 13 to apply.
The City of Kingston is inviting local ethnocultural community groups, artists, performers and vendors to apply to take part in the 2026 Intercultural Arts Festival and Welcome to Kingston fair.
The annual event will take place Sunday, Sept. 20, at Confederation Park and celebrates Kingston's cultural diversity through live performances, cultural pavilions, artisan vendors, community exhibits and international cuisine. The festival also includes the Welcome to Kingston fair, connecting newcomers with local services and resources.
The City said participants will be selected with input from the festival's ethnocultural community planning committee to help create a balanced, engaging and inclusive event.
Applications are open for cultural pavilions, artisan and food vendors, community organizations, and live performers, including musicians, dancers, theatre groups and storytellers.
Expressions of interest must be submitted by Monday, July 13, at 5 p.m.
The City encourages community members to share their traditions, talents and stories while helping create a welcoming experience for residents and visitors. More information and the application form are available on the City of Kingston's website.
