$7,100 was raised that will support ongoing community initiatives in Kingston.
Three Rotary Clubs in the Kingston area raised some money by playing bartender at the world cup celebration.
The Rotary Club of Kingston, the Rotary Club of Kingston-Frontenac, and the Rotary Club of Kingston Waterfront helped operate the Michelob Beer Tent during the Canada Celebrates FIFA 2026 Kingston event last Saturday.
Volunteers from the three clubs were working together to serve attendees throughout the day.
At the end of the day, $7,100 was raised from the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Proceeds will be distributed to support ongoing Rotary community initiatives across Kingston. They include youth programs, local charities, and service projects that strengthen the region.
Thousands packed Springer Market Square for the celebration.
