University Hospitals Kingston Foundation earns national recognition for fundraising revenue and productivity, placing it among the top 25 per cent of hospital foundations.
University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) has received national recognition for its fundraising efforts and financial efficiency.
The foundation announced that it earned the “High Performer” designation from the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP).
The recognition is based on results from the AHP Report on Giving survey for the 2025 fiscal year. UHKF ranked among the top 25 per cent of 137 participating hospital foundations nationwide in both philanthropic support and fundraising productivity.
The designation recognizes the foundation’s ability to build community support and use donations efficiently to benefit patient care.
Paul McIntyre Royston, president and CEO of UHKF, says the achievement reflects the dedication of the foundation’s team and the support of the community.
UHKF raises money for Kingston Health Sciences Centre and Providence Care, supporting health-care facilities, equipment, programs, education and research.
The foundation serves a region of about 650,000 people across Kingston and southeastern Ontario.
UHKF says it will continue working with donors and the community to support health-care services, treatments and patient care across the region.
