More than 25,000 came through the gates at the Memorial Centre over the 4 days.
The 193rd Kingston Fall Fair concluded Sunday with record attendance and a weekend packed with family-friendly fun.
Held at the Memorial Centre grounds from September 11 to 14, the fair drew over 25,000 visitors, according to organizers.
Highlights included the return of the Country Singing Showdown, where local talent competed for cash prizes, and the debut of the Strong Man/Woman competition. The fair also introduced a Square Dance demonstration by the Limestone Dancers and a Super Hero tent filled with activities for children.
The 4-H competitions expanded this year to include a sheep club, and the popular Monster Truck Madness and demolition derbies sponsored by Tomlinson Group thrilled crowds. Artisan’s Alley showcased local crafters, and the World’s Finest Shows midway offered a variety of rides and games.
The Kingston & District Agricultural Society, celebrating its 200th anniversary, expressed gratitude for the community’s support in making the fair a success.
