Residents now have until July 17 to nominate projects that have helped shape the community.
Kingston residents have more time to nominate outstanding projects for the 2026 Livable City Design Awards after the City extended the nomination deadline to July 17.
Held every three years, the awards recognize buildings, developments, public spaces and landscape features that demonstrate excellence in urban design and architecture while improving quality of life in Kingston.
The City is encouraging residents, businesses and community organizations to nominate projects that have helped create vibrant, inclusive and attractive neighbourhoods.
Manager of Policy Planning Sukriti Agarwal said the extended deadline gives the community more time to recognize projects that make Kingston a better place to live, work and play.
Public and private projects completed between Jan. 1, 2023, and Dec. 31, 2025, are eligible for nomination.
Anyone can submit a nomination. The City said complete eligibility requirements and nomination details are available on its website.
The Livable City Design Awards are held every three years to celebrate design excellence across the community.
