City services, transit, recreation facilities and more will see changes on Aug. 3.
Kingston residents should expect changes to City services and facility hours during the Civic Holiday long weekend.
There will be no garbage or green bin collection Monday, Aug. 3. Collection will take place one day later than usual throughout the week.
Kingston Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule, while Kingston Access Bus Services will offer limited on-road service. The trip booking office will be open from 7:30 to 11 a.m.
The Kingston Disposal Site, City administrative offices, Utilities Kingston and Kingston Hydro will be closed Monday. Utility emergencies can still be reported 24 hours a day at 613-546-1181.
Several recreation facilities, including the INVISTA Centre, Artillery Park Aquatic Centre and community centres, will also be closed.
Kingston Frontenac Public Library branches will be closed, although online services remain available.
The Portsmouth Olympic Harbour and Confederation Basin marinas will remain open.
The Kingston Grand Theatre, PumpHouse Museum and Tett Centre will be closed.
Some grocery store hours may be effected. Most LCBO locations will be closed. Most Beer Store locations will operate on limited hours.
