Families can climb aboard the S.S. Keewatin for a spooky puzzle challenge at the Great Lakes Museum on Oct. 26th.
A chilling challenge is coming to Kingston’s waterfront this Halloween as the Great Lakes Museum hosts Lock & Kee: A Halloween Event on Sunday, October 26.
Visitor experience manager Claire Notman says it marks the first public event aboard the historic S.S. Keewatin.
Participants will board the historic S.S. Keewatin, where Halloween spirits have locked the Captain out of the wheelhouse. To help him regain control, visitors must solve eerie puzzles and follow hidden clues scattered throughout the ship.
Notman describes the vibe the experience will bring.
The event runs from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., with registration required for time slots. Tickets are $13 per person for ages five and up, while children four and under enter free. Costumes are encouraged, and each participant has 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
Notman says that this event is for everyone.
Families brave enough to take part will be rewarded with a sweet treat for their efforts. More details are available at greatlakesmuseum.ca.
