Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce to honour top women in business with an award

20 are vying for the first-ever Pinnacle Award.

20 women in Kingston are vying to become the first ever Pinnacle Award winner.

The initiative by the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce recognizes exceptional women whose leadership, business achievements, community involvement, mentorship, and commitment in creating inclusive environments have made a meaningful impact on the city.

In a news release, the 20 nominees represent an impressive cross-section of women who are leading businesses, strengthening organizations, supporting others and contributing to the economic and community vitality.

They will be evaluated based on three areas: Leadership and Business Excellence, Community Impact and Mentorship, and Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The 2026 Pinnacle Award nominees are:

The winner will be announced during the Celebration of Women in Business event taking place next Thursday, September 17, at the Renaissance Boutique Event & Wedding Venue on Queen St.

Shari Hughson, an award winning entrepreneur, innovator, educator, and professional speaker, will be the event's keynote speaker.
