The Great Lakes Museum will be able to continue with their award-winning programming.
The museum announced on Monday that they have received $15,000 from the Anne and Edward C Churchill Foundation.
The money will be used to support the museum's educational and community programming for children, youth, and seniors during the 2026–2027 program year.
In a news release, they say the funding will provide approximately 300 students with access to the Museum's hands-on STEAM and Great Lakes history programs, and support senior-focused initiatives such as the Nautical Nights Lecture Series and Lifelong Learning Club.
The museum goes on to say the money will help ensure that their educational experiences remain accessible to everyone without the financial barriers.
They are thanking the Anna & Edward C. Churchill Foundation for its longstanding commitment to strengthening the Kingston community.
