More than $320K has been made available for 2026-2027.
Applications are being accepted for the 2026-2027 City of Kingston Heritage Fund Grant.
The Kingston and Area Association of Museums, Art Galleries and Historic Sites announced that $320,245.09 is available to eligible recipients.
There are two different grant streams: operating and project grants.
Under the operating grants, there are two categories: Large Operating Grants and Small Operating Grants. There are also two catgories under the project grants: Community Project Grants and Development Project Grants.
Development Project Grants address specific themes related to Kingston’s cultural heritage landscape. For 2026-2027, the Development Project Grant will address the following themes: “Youth Program Development” and “Climate Action.”
Interested applicants are being encouraged to attend a webinar on July 31st between 10:00am and 11:30am.
There will also be two free grant writing webinars hosted by the Kingston and Area Association of Museums, Art Galleries and Historic Sites. One goes on Aug 4 that will cover operating grants and another on Aug 6 that will focus on project grants.
The deadline to apply is Sept 22, 2026 at 11:59 pm.
