The football team welcome Waterloo to Richardson Stadium on Saturday.
It is expected to be an electric atmosphere at Richardson Stadium for the Queen's Gaels football team's home opener.
The Gaels (1-0) are coming off a bye week after beating the Varsity Blues in the season opener in Toronto back on August 30.
Head Coach Steve Snyder says having the bye in the second week of the season was like an extended training camp.
Receiver Russell Weir had seven catches for 89 yards for the Gaels in the week one victory.
He says having the week off allowed the team to reset.
The Gaels now turn their attention to the 1-1 Waterloo Warriors who are coming off a win over the Carleton Ravens last Sunday in Ottawa.
Snyder says his team will have be ready to play a determined Warriors squad on Saturday.
Weir says the Warriors have a number of weapons and can strike quickly.
Game time at Richardson Stadium is 5 pm.
