Three people with connections to the GTA were arrested at the scene.
A suspected drug trafficking ring in Kingston has been shut down by police.
Members of Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a home on Connacher Dr. on Friday.
Investigators say they believed drugs such as cocaine, fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine were being stored and sold from the residence.
Once the officers gained entry, three people inside the home were seen trying flee through the balcony but were later apprehended. A loaded handgun and a quantity of cash were seen being discarded.
Three ounces of fentanyl, $3,785 in Canadian currency, and a loaded handgun was seized. They say all three suspects are believed to have connections to the Greater Toronto Area.
