Dinosaurs are coming to life at the PumpHouse Museum, April 15
The PumpHouse Museum is launching Dinosaurs Among Us, a year-long exhibit from the American Museum of Natural History. It shows how dinosaurs evolved into the birds we see today.
Visitors can view colourful illustrations, real fossils, and dinosaur casts from the Royal Ontario Museum. A special highlight includes a full raptor cast, an ancient ostrich skull, and a real dinosaur leg bone.
The exhibit also features local fossils from the Kingston region, thanks to the Miller Museum of Geology.
Fun events like Dino Trivia Nights and Dino Skates will run all year, along with hands-on school programs like Fossils & Feathers.
“Visitors of all ages will be amazed,” says City Curator Melissa Cruise.
Dinosaurs Among Us runs until spring 2026. Admission details are available at KingstonPumpHouse.ca.
