Users are encouraged to BGC South East for swimming; YMCA, KECC, and Invista Centre for workouts.
Users of the Artillery Park Aquatic Centre will temporarily have to find another place to swim or workout.
The City of Kingston says they will be doing their annual maintenance at the facility on Bagot St starting Tuesday September 8. Minor repairs, a deep cleaning of the facility, and maintenance of fitness equipment and pool will be done during the closure.
The pools, gym, fitness centre and meeting rooms will all be closed to the public. The front desk area will be open Thursday September 10 from 8:30 am to 3:45 pm to assist people with accounts and SPARK funding, and to process aquatic program registrations for Kingston residents that will begin at 12 Noon.
Artillery Park pass holders can access pool facilities at BGC South East. Those who use the gym can go to Kingston East Community Centre or the Invista Centre.
FitPass holders can use BGC South East, Kingston East Community Centre, Invista Centre, or YMCA.
The facility is expected to reopen on Friday September 20.
