Customers picked up clothes, jewelry, drawers and fixtures on the last day of operation.
After 355 years in business, Hudson's Bay has closed their stores for good.
Sunday was the last day stores in Canada opened for business.
Some, like the one at the Cataraqui Centre in Kingston, had the lights turned off and the doors locked early.
Shoppers arrived to see what bargains were left, some purchased clothes and jewelry while others had their eye on the furniture, frames, signage, and fixtures that were available.
A man and a woman was seen loading a couple of drawers that they had purchased at the Kingston location on to a trailer.
Asked how much he paid for the drawers, he replied: "too much."
Other people we approached for comment declined to speak to us but did say it was sad to see the Bay go.
Hudson's Bay declared bankruptcy in March and began liquidation soon after.
Six stores were initially allowed to continue but those will be closed.
