Offices will remain open as the board collects more information.
The satellite sites of Southeast Public Health will remain open for now.
The board previously contemplated closing seven locations including in Napanee, Picton, Trenton, Gananoque, Perth, Almonte, and Kemptville.
Board member Peter McKenna says the locations will stay open, as the board collects more information for themselves and from the province.
McKenna says they will close office only if it’s necessary.
McKenna says the recommendation to close satellite sites across the region was rescinded following many delegations and public concern.
