The duo combined for four points in extending win streak to four games.
The best team in the Ontario Hockey League were in Kingston Friday night but it was the Frontenacs that had the biggest bite.
Landon Wright and Aleks Kulemin each led the way with a goal and an assist in the Frontenacs 4-2 victory over the Brantford Bulldogs at Slush Puppie Place.
Wright's goal late in the second period came 12 seconds after the Bulldogs (23-4-4-1) had tied the game at 2-2.
He says the team has been gaining a lot more confidence during their four-game winning streak.
It's been a positive change for the team compared to their recent nine-game skid when their confidence suddenly shattered whenever they gave up a goal.
Kulemin says now they have been able to answer soon after the opposition puts one in to their net.
Wright and Kulemin have combined to score four goals and collecting five assists during the win streak.
Head coach Troy Mann likes the way the pair have been playing of late.
While the power play has now gone 21 straight without a goal after an 0-for-1 night, the Frontenacs' (14-16-2-2) penalty kill kept the league's best power play off the scoreboard twice.
Maleek McGowan and Nolan Buttar also scored for Kingston. They also had a number of shots hitting the goal post or crossbar.
Caleb Malhotra had both the Bulldogs' goals while David Egorov made 34 saves in the loss.
Matt Minchak stopped 32 shots in his fifth straight start for the Frontenacs.
The team plays their last game before Christmas on Saturday against the Steelheads in Brampton. You can listen to the call with Jim Gilchrist on Upper Canada Fuel and Burner Frontenacs Hockey on New Country 98.9 starting at 4 pm.
