Police are asking residents to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.
Thieves appear to be targeting vehicles in the west-end of the city.
In a news release, Kingston Police say they have received a number of reports about thefts from unattended vehicles.
They did not specify which neighbourhoods in particular are being targeted by thieves.

They say thieves will, in rare occasion, resort to smashing a window to gain entry.
