Trained canvassers will visit neighbourhoods across Kingston and southeastern Ontario.
The University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) will begin a door-to-door campaign on November 3 to encourage monthly donations that support local health care.
Trained canvassers will visit neighbourhoods across Kingston and southeastern Ontario to share how monthly giving helps fund medical equipment, patient comfort items, and programs not covered by government funding.
UHKF is once again partnering with GlobalFaces Direct to deliver the campaign, and canvassers will carry official identification. Residents can verify their identity by calling 1-833-341-0106.
Donations will be collected using secure, encrypted tablets that meet Payment Compliance Industry (PCI) standards.
“The campaign gives people a chance to make a lasting impact on health care,” said Krista Ellis-Smith, Senior Development Officer at UHKF.
The foundation hopes to welcome more than 750 new monthly donors by year’s end to help strengthen care for 650,000 residents across southeastern Ontario.
