Eight teams raise impressive amount.
Teams from Kingston, including from Kingston Fire & Rescue showed their strength and spirit at the 12th annual Pull Together for Epilepsy.
Eight teams from the Kingston area pulled a 37,000-pound fire truck 100 feet on Sunday, helping raise $35,000 for Epilepsy South Eastern Ontario.
KFR’s own Ember Avengers team won big, taking home awards for fastest time (21.14 seconds), highest fundraising total ($8,100), and overall top honours.
Chelsea’s Champions won the team spirit award for their energy and enthusiasm.
The event was hosted by Epilepsy South Eastern Ontario to support individuals and families living with epilepsy in the region.
Firefighters, community members, and volunteers joined forces to raise awareness for the cause.
The event was widely praised as a meaningful and inspiring success by organizers, participants, and the many spectators lending their support.
