The Summer Company program is back in Kingston.
The Kingston Economic Development Corporation are currently accepting application for the 2026 program.
It sees students 15 to 29 get an opportunity to take their ideas and transform them into business ventures.
The Summer Company program gives aspiring young entrepreneurs with the essential training, mentorship, and financial support to launch and manage their ventures.
There were 12 new businesses emerging from last year's successful cohort according to a news release. They say the provincially-funded program has been going since 2001 and it continues to empower students to transform their entrepreneurial vision into viable ventures.
Interested applicants have until April 24 to apply. More information can be found at investkingston.ca/summercompany.
