City warns drivers to stay off streets between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.
Kingston has issued an overnight ban on on-street parking due to a forecasted weather system expected to affect road conditions. The City says parking is prohibited on all streets from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m., and from midnight to 7 a.m. in the areas surrounding Kingston General Hospital.
The restrictions will stay in place until officials determine they are no longer needed. When the ban is lifted, the City will post alerts online and on social media. Residents are encouraged to check CityofKingston.ca/WinterParking for updates and more information.
