Applicants much be at least 18 years old, a Canadian citizen and been living in Kingston for a least one year.
The City of Kingston is looking for members to fill out a pair of committees.
One is the Planning Advisory Committee and the other is Council Resourcing Working Group.
In a news release, the two groups bring community voices into city work and provide recommendations that help guide council decisions.
The Planning Advisory Committee advises on land use planning matters, including legislation, growth management and conservation.
The City is looking for an Indigenous community representative and Kingston West urban area representative.
The Council Resourcing Review Working Group is a new group that will examine the roles and responsibilities of the Mayor and Councillors, and recommend appropriate pay based on comparator municipalities and the demands of the role.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who has been a resident of Kingston for at least one year.
People have until July 25 to apply either in person at City Hall or online at the City of Kingston's website.
