An officer was pursuing a suspect who left the scene of a shooting in September.

An officer was going to a scene near Barrie and Johnston where gunshots were reportedly fired. The officer noticed two men, one of them fled on a bicycle which led to a police pursuit.
The collision occurred in a laneway next to a home near the bottom of Division St. A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
SIU investigators concluded that the officer did not commit any criminal offences.
