A 47-year-old resident is facing charges.
A Kingston resident is facing several charges after an overnight bear spray assault at an apartment complex.
Kingston Police say officers were called to the building around 9:10 p.m. on November 3, 2025, after reports of an assault with a weapon. When they arrived, they found a tenant who had been sprayed in the face with bear spray by another resident.
Police reviewed CCTV footage from inside the building and were able to identify the suspect.
A 47-year-old individual from Kingston was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, administering a noxious substance, possessing a weapon dangerous to the public, public mischief, mischief under $5,000 and three counts of breaching probation.
The accused was taken to Kingston Police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Police have not released the victim’s condition but say the investigation is ongoing.
