Tanner Sweet is now in custody after he was arrested by the R.O.P.E Squad last night in Flinton.

OPP say that Tanner Sweet has been picked up by the R.O.P.E. squad in Flinton with assistance from Lennox and Addington OPP, Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit.
Investigators want to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this investigation.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is asking the public’s assistance in locating Tanner Sweet, a 31-year-old federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his Statutory Release.
Sweet is described as a Caucasian male, 6’0” (183 cm), 160 lbs (72 kg), with black hair, brown eyes, and multiple tattoos, including a script and tear on his face, “Sweet” on his neck, a demon face on his right leg, and various other body tattoos.
He is serving a two-year-and-one-day sentence for break-and-enter with theft, motor vehicle theft, prohibited driving, and firearm-related offenses.
Sweet is known to frequent Belleville, Kingston, Tweed, Madoc, and Kaladar.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police immediately.
