A loaded weapon was also found; a 19-year-old from the Toronto-area is also facing charges in Durham Region.
A three-month drug trafficking investigation in Kingston has led to charges to a Toronto-area man.
An investigation was launched in May by the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit into the distribution of fentanyl.
On Thursday, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Joseph Street.
Investigators say they were met by an individual with a loaded Glock .40 calibre handgun containing 12 rounds, including 4 hollow-point bullets.
The individual was disarmed and later arrested.
Investigators then conducted a search of the home and uncovered quantities of fentanyl, crack cocaine, and crystal methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of over $82,000 as well as Canadian currency.
A 19-year-old is facing a number of charges and was held for a bail hearing.
A further investigation revealed that the accused was out on drug trafficking charges in Durham Region.
