He and fellow Slovakian Misiak combined for four points on Friday night.
A pair of Slovakian players felt right at home as the Frontenacs played their first game at Slush Puppie Place in two weeks.
Tomas Pobezal scored twice, his linemate Alex Misiak added two assists as Kingston doubled up the visiting Brampton Steelheads 6-3 on Friday night.
Pobezal and Misiak both played for Slovakia during the world junior tournament in Minnesota.
Pobezal has four goals and five points in four games since moving to centre after the trade of captain Jacob Battaglia to Flint.
He says it is a natural position for him.
It was the first game for Misiak and Jack Dever in front of the home crowd. Both were acquired prior to the January 10th OHL trade deadline.
Head coach Troy Mann says the two are great additions and both have fit in despite only playing a handful of games with the team.
Pobezal would have had a hat trick if the opening goal of the game was not disallowed because of a hand pass. He did score late in the second period to tie it at 1-1 then scored again early in the third to give the Frontenacs (19-20-2-2) a 2-1 lead.
Down 3-2, Vann Williamson scored his second of the season firing a shot from the point that managed to get past Steelheads netminder Luke Johnson (15 saves).
He says the team was firing on all cylinders after struggling to generate chances early in the game.
Kingston got goals from Matthew Frost and Landon Wright scored 24 seconds apart to take the lead. Matthew Minchak (11 saves) came in relief of starter Gavin Betts (5 saves) who left the game after the first period with back spasms.
Mann says the team had some punch in that third period.
Troy Patton had two goals and William Eggleton with the other for the Steelheads (13-23-3-2).
Kingston went 1-for-5 with the man advantage, Brampton were 1-for-4.
The Frontenacs head to Brantford Saturday afternoon to take on the Bulldogs. Catch the game on Kingston's New Country 98.9 as Jim Gilchrist will have the call on Upper Canada Fuel and Burner Frontenacs Hockey starting at 4 pm.
