Recent snow storms made for interesting driving conditions.
The OPP's Bill Dickson provided friendly winter driving reminders after a few area storms made for interesting roadways.
He took us through how you should react should your car start to skid.
If you're on a one-lane highway, ensure there's no oncoming traffic to avoid a major accident. If there is, Dickson says gliding into the ditch is the safest option.
Other tips included having an emergency kit to leaving extra space between cars and allowing yourself more travel time.
Dickson also commented on what to do should you find yourself stuck in a storm and needing to stop.
Dickson also reminded drivers to never pass a snow plow.
