Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred in Sharbot Lake in the early morning hours of Friday, July 11. Officers from the Frontenac Detachment responded shortly after 1:00 a.m. to a residence on Gordon Crescent, where it was reported that two suspects, a man and a woman, entered the home armed with weapons, including a knife.
No injuries were reported, but the suspects fled with several stolen items, including a Sony PlayStation, musical instruments, and cash. They were last seen leaving in a loud, silver or grey four-door vehicle headed north on Gordon Crescent.
The male suspect is described as approximately 5’9” with a thin build, short brown hair, and an unshaven short beard. The female is around 5’4” with a thin build and dark brown or red hair.
Police believe the incident was targeted and that there is no threat to public safety. Investigators are seeking witnesses or security footage.
