The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society has announced Becky Harvey as the new manager of the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Animal Centre.
With 23 years of experience in the veterinary field, Harvey has served as a veterinary assistant, registered veterinary technician, and most recently, a veterinary practice manager. She lives with her family, three horses, two border collies, and a gray tabby.
“I have always been passionate about helping animals,” says Harvey, recalling her childhood of nursing sick or injured animals back to health. “I look forward to supporting our community and the animals within it.”
Over the past decade, the Lennox & Addington Animal Centre has found homes for over 4,400 animals. Harvey aims to help 300 animals get adopted this year.
