Impaired driving and failing to remain charges laid
A driver from Odessa is facing multiple charges after a two-vehicle crash in a Loyalist Township parking lot on Saturday night.
Lennox and Addington County OPP say the incident happened shortly after 9 p.m. on April 5, 2025. Police were called to the scene, where no injuries were reported. After investigating, officers located the suspect vehicle nearby and arrested the driver.
53-year-old Jason Berezny has been charged with impaired driving, driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system, and failing to stop after an accident.
As a result, Berezny’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded. The accused is scheduled to appear in Court in Greater Napanee on April 22, 2025.
