A self proclaimed political outsider would like to see Kingston go Green.
Fintan Hartnett sees himself as a political outsider in this federal election.
The Kingston and the Islands Green candidate spoke with KingstonDaily.ca about a number of issues that he believes should be discussed in this campaign.
Hartnett says the environment is one that has not been talked about enough by the other political parties.
Hartnett says there are many local issues that voters in Kingston want solutions to.
Hartnett says he has been in the position of those who are struggling to make ends meet.
Hartnett says he has experienced the world and has seen first hand the environmental destruction and poverty that is happening.
He feels he can do more for the riding compared to the Liberal incumbent.
Hartnett says with all that is happening across Canada and in the United States, the riding of Kingston and the Islands needs someone in Ottawa who can get things done.
Voters head to the polls on April 28.
