Here’s what you need to know.
Kingston Health Sciences Centre is warning patients, visitors, and staff that the main entrance at Kingston General Hospital will be closed from May 26 to 31, 2025, for repair work.
The closure affects both the revolving door and nearby automatic doors at the Kidd/Davies entrance on Stuart Street. During this time, anyone needing to access the hospital should use the Armstrong entrance, which is available from Lower University Avenue.
Parking lots and driveway access near the main entrance will stay open. The hospital expects the entrance to reopen on June 1, 2025.
KHSC encourages people to plan ahead and check parking details on its website before visiting.
The short-term closure is part of maintenance work to improve safety and access at the hospital. Visit kingstonhsc.ca for more information on how to get to the hospital.
